As seen on Instagram! As promised I have created a 'Hi Dottie' pattern so you can stitch your own version.
Inspired by both vintage Paper dolls and iconic Little Golden books 'Hi Dottie' menopause is a mid-life version reimagined in needlepoint.
This pdf pattern is suitable for both needlepoint and cross stitch due to its pixel design. 1 x coloured pixel square = 1 x stitch (either cross stitch or half stitch depending on your preference.)
The pattern itself is Pattern Size: 120 x 135 stitches.

FOR CROSS STITCH:
Pattern is 14 count, 2 x strands, shows thread amounts.
FOR NEEDLEPOINT:
Choose your favourite canvas and thread. Finished size will vary depending on the count of your canvas. My original is 10 count plastic canvas stitched with 8ply yarn.
NB: On my original the spine in the photo is gold fabric with embroidery. In the pattern I have adapted it to be stitched.
