Stitch your own 3D Marlboro cigarette packet!
This pdf pattern is suitable for both needlepoint and cross stitch due to its pixel design. 1 x coloured pixel square = 1 x stitch (either cross stitch or half stitch depending on your preference.)
The pattern itself is Pattern Size: 102 x 85 stitches (when flat).
Digital download includes:
15 x page pdf with pattern enlarged for easy reference
6 x page pdf with pattern on one page, needlepoint notes and basic finishing instructions.
FOR CROSS STITCH:
Pattern is 14 count, 2 x strands, shows thread amounts.
FOR NEEDLEPOINT:
My original is stitched using 13 count needlepoint canvas and DMC thread and makes about a 'life size' version with the finished packet measuring 7.5cm wide x 10.5cm high x 3cm deep.
Stitch on 18 count to make a great bag charm size.
FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS (and disclaimer!!):
I have included a basic finishing tutorial, 3 pages with photos of my process.
I am by no means a professional finisher, I wing it and as long as the outside looks good, I don’t mind the unhinged process that got me there!
If you are after a very professional finish, please search youtube for a more detailed and ‘correct’ tutorial or send it off to a professional needlepoint finisher... there are so many on Instagram.
In saying that my finishing process served me well.
