What every woman needs......A Room of her Own and a new needlepoint/cross stitch pattern!
Inspired by the iconic orange and white Penguin book covers here is A Room of One's Own by feminist author Virginia Woolf.
This pdf pattern is suitable for both needlepoint and cross stitch due to its pixel design. 1 x coloured pixel square = 1 x stitch (either cross stitch or half stitch depending on your preference.) The pattern itself is Pattern Size: 70 x 104 stitches.

FOR CROSS STITCH: Pattern is 14 count, 2 x strands, shows thread amounts.
FOR NEEDLEPOINT: Choose your favourite canvas and thread. Finished size will vary depending on the count of your canvas. You may wish to fill in the bigger blocks of colour with larger or more decorative stitches as I have done (instructions not included in chart). Back stitch detail included but optional. My originals in the photos show a WIP using 13 count needlepoint canvas and DMC thread and a version on 10 count plastic canvas stitched with 8ply yarn.
